82c54 based computer "tachometer"

   I've place on the server a description of the 82c54 based "tachometer" that
I've been working on. This is a 4 chip (only 2 for the actual counter)
circuit that can be adapted to most computers to measure RPM. Let me know
what you think of it....  The file is postscript and latter I'll put it on
the WWW server (I may even correct some of the grammar/spelling :) ).

Anyone want to start a discussion on automotive EMI and how much shielding is
needed?
