Manifold pressure, fuel mixture, and water injection

I read a few years ago about adding water directly to fuel by using an
emulsifying agent (fancy term for ordinary liquid soap), and getting
similar improvemnt -- the mechanism would be similar.

But I have not seen more on this recently.
