68HC11 and MAF sensor

Hey,

The frequeny that is outputed is not directly proportion to Mass Air Flow,
 The transfer function looks like a square root with an offset.  GM probably
wanted to use the A/D converter instead of the input capture feature of the
HC11, either way, you have that damn square root thing in there.  If you use
the MAF of the 2.8, you either need a lookup table or design a algorithem to
do a square root function on a number.  Good luck!!!
