    Yep, count me in on the "me-too!" line.   I seem to recall that I 
used a LM3915, since it was a linear graph instead of the logarithmic 
graph that the 3914 used.   

    The only sad part of this setup is that you can't daisy chain the 
chips, since the input voltage is so low...
