I did some poking around with my '86 6-port Rx7 before removing the stock FI.  I
don't have my notes in front of me, but from what I remember:

The stock setup had two injectors of the same size per rotor housing.  One 
directly in the housing (primary) and one upstream in the intake path 
(secondary).  [I had changed the secondary to the larger injectors from the 
GSL-SE model.  The injector measurements had been bounced to this list a few 
months ago].

The primary injector pulse width changed with throttle position, to a maximum of
approx 10ms.  At 3500 rpm the secondary injector would turn on.  When this 
happend, pulse width was still controlled by throttle position but the maximum 
width for each injector was 5 ms.  The primary and secondary injectors fire in 
sequence, not at the same time.
