Driving an MSD Ignition Box

The white wire on the MSD 6-A box is intended for triggering
from good 'ole mechanical points.  So the MSD fires when
the white wire transitions from ground to +12 volts
(I am assuming that the white wire goes to an high-impedance
input op-amp or similar and draws almost zero current).
It probably has contact debounce built in as well!
