Simple injector Drive

Wow, talk about making it complicated.

The injectors were 2-3 ohm Mitsubishis, which needed a ballast resistor in
series so we put one in and put 12v across the lot.

The Bosch ones were higher resistance and nneded no ballast resistor so we
wired them up to 12v

My surprise comes from a 15 ohm injector burning out on 12v

2 ohm ones with no ballast burning out doesn't surprise me.

Just to give you an idea of the level of technical expertise we had then
(1982) we determiined flow rate from how long it took( measured on a wall
clock with a second hand) to fill up a 1 pint milk bottle :)

Now thats accuracy!
