My reply to your E-Mail bounced so I'll post the reply here.  

The titles and issues of the Circuit Cellar Ink articles were;
"Developing an Engine Control System, Part 1 System Architecture and Fuel
Delivery" Ed Lansinger, Issue #62 Circuit Cellar Ink, Sept '95. "Part 2:
Ignition
Subsystems" is in issue #63, Oct. '95, and "Part 3:Completing the System" is
in #64, Oct. '95.

The topic was developing an engine control system for a FZR600 motorcycle
engine for use in a F-SAE car.  He used the Motorola M68HC16EVB board.  The
articles cover program strategy and interface circuitry.

I thought the articles were extremely informative, but my background is ME,
not EE or CS.
