Is this for real?

I'd kind of like to compare the credentials of the conflicting parties myself 
before believing this "good news". It strikes me that a few guys with money to 
spend may still have money to earn by "encouraging" the results in this 
direction.

The reported near-monotonic rise in skin cancers/yr is enough to make me 
rather cynical here...
