Why use RPM sensing.  The tuned length should change with air temp,
pressure, etc.  I thought about this about 4 years ago, but never did
anything with it.  What you really want to try to do, as I understand
it, is to achieve the highest pressure at the intake valves.   This
will force more air in quicker.  To do this, why not just sense the
pressure, and adaptively control the tube length to maximize the
pressure?
