Aha! You are thinking about "hyperbar turbocharging". I guess the idea h=
as not
popped up it self in your brain (otherwise i'm quite impressed). Guess y=
ou
allready know that some very highperformance diesels use this method to =
start
their engines since compression ratio is to low to ignite w/o turbopress=
ure.

They also use it as you want as a response increaser. It's built by a se=
parate
airduct and fuelpump to an injector in a small EBK chamber before the tu=
rbine.
They also need a preheater and an electric motor to spin the turboshaft =
to
start the flow. It also requires igniter and flame control as well as re=
gulator
for the bypass air.
You wont need the electric starter, but will probably need both extra ai=
r and
igniter, and I would newer start trying with gasolene (maby diesel) if I=
 was
anywere near the engine :-). Maby a toch of waterinj to prevent melting =
the, as
i guess, rather heatstrained turbine and it might work!
I wold never want to bee the testdriver though ;-)

How I lowe these bold crasy ideas....! =

I guess I hear the BANG all the way over here if the ignition hesitates =
for a
split sekond :-) .
