I'd be interested in seeing that car. Are you sure it's an '81, and 
that it has the stock '81 L-Jetronic system? Who did the gray-market 
conversion? Where is the sensor mounted?  What's the VIN?
Besides, I never heard of an M 7-series.(although the 745i was the 
closest thing to it...) Feel free to e-mail me off the list...
