my previous reply was probably too terse (SOP) -- Every EFI I have studied goes open loop in WOT (or near it). I'm told it's because you want a richer mixture for max power and, since it's only temporary, closed loop (i.e. EGO) operation is not necessary. Tom Cloud <cloud at peaches.ph.utexas.edu>
