This is total crap, at least the part about the hard drive and CPU
destruction. It is physically impossible to damage a CPU chip using
software. After all, that is what it
was made to do, (execute software) so damaging it by same is pure crap.
Ascii mail files cannot possibly cause damage, since they do not "execute",
but only convey information. It is concievably possible to attach an
executable file to a mail message, but it will remain dormant unless you
actually run it.
This "Good Times" thing, however, is the most insidious type of virus, it
reproduces itself by taking advantage of the gullible types who perpetrate
these warnings across the internet. No offense, John, but you got sucked in.
