How did you guys get into DIY-EFI

My arrival into the forum was less interesting than most actually... I'm
building a vehicle from scratch, and a pal from another mailing list
recommended this list based on the engine and powertrain ideas I had, so
wala, here I be :)

I am what one calls a jack of all trades... I have a good working knowledge
of analog and digital electronics, embedded systems, microprocessors,
computers, LANs, automobiles, however I am not even close to being an expert
in anything.  For it it started out as a tinkerer.  I was told at age three
not to EVER stick anything in the outlet.  And guess what, my fascination for
electricity and mechanical items came very quickly as the brass key melted
down the wall <G>.
