<< Greetings all. I'm using an Electromotive TEC-II system on my 454 Chevy.

It works great. Very tunable, easy to get up and running, and extremely
well built. I've had it for about 5-6 months and have had no problems.
Had to wire up my own harness, but that should be no problem for anybody
 with even basic soldering skills.
The software is the best part - you probably know this already but I'll
mention it anyway - the Electromotive unit is based on a
thermodynamically linear system. No silly look-up tables like the
Haltech or DFI, just set two initial values (IOT and TOG) and your engine
will run reasonably well. ...... if you do call, ask to speak to Fred.
 There's
another guy there named Jim and well, I'll say he's a bit irritating and
leave it at that. Fred will take the time to intelligently answer your
questions; at least he did for me... >>

And I thought I was the only one on this list that had a postive view of the
Electromotive TEC-II. I also had a positive experience in dealing with the
staff. I visitied their shop and had good talk and coversation with both Jim
and Fred, although I can see the source of you comment about Jim. My only
problem with Electromotive is that they are a bit expensive comparted to
otehr systems.
