Jesus, I don't know how I became the designated hitter for electromotive,
but really I just think they have an excellent product, one that really
doesn't require a whole hell of a lot in the way of tech support to get
working properly. By saying that they consider themselves right ebcuase
they ften are I simply meant that they are familiar with their product and
are fairly familiar with the way it will work with different applications.
I'm not saying that they can tolerance apex seals by wrubbing the points of
their elbows together or anything.

>they are now comming out with staged injection (as you posted earlier)

The application I was talking about was a custom rig for one particular
customer. And I might note that even that was a special exception because
Electromotive was literally up the street from the shop that needed the
staged fire. Also, the staged fire was needed for a rather unusual
application, (specifically they wanted streetability on an engine that was
going in the wrong car AND they needed tons of fuel for running hihg boost
pressure from the twin-turbo setup. I have no idea if Electromotive intends
to actually sell a version of their computer with staged firing of the
injectors, so don't quote me on it (and they wouldn't know who the hell I
was anyway).

Depending on the application he was probably right. For most people there
is probably no need to have 6 v. big injectors to deal with huge amounts of
air mass at high rpm's (8 grand running 13lbs of boost on a three rotor) and
still have a nice smooth low idle (750rpm). Most people who need that kind
of fuel volume probably aren't worried about getting a nice idle.

Damn, I'm all out of gum.

<I guess I kicked too much "FC" ass for Ted's taste.>
