Diagnosis needed... (also Bosch fuel pump specs)

If the Beamer is anything like a SAAB (both use Bosch FI), there is a
canister that surrounds the fuel pump that has a small orifice to allow
gas to enter.  The reason for this canister is to keep some fuel by the
pump on hard take offs when the tank is low.

Sound like the orifice can't keep up with the fuel sucked down your
engine.

I'd enlarge the orifice to about twice its diameter.

With SAABs, you didn't have to drop the tank, hope your as fortunate.
