'84 F-car transmission application

Mark,

	You are wrong in your assumption that the 1984 application did not use
an overdrive transmission.  The 700R4 transmission was indeed used for
this vehicle.  There are changes that were made in mid-year concerning
hardened gear sets, and other wear-related parts, but no operational
changes.  There was a auxilliary fuel pump that was added mid-year to
correct vapor-lock and fuel pressure loss problems as well.  This became
part of a technical service bulletin concerning the 1984 305 H.O.
applications.

I do not know of any significant hardware differences between the 1984
and 1985 L69 engine platforms other than the hardened transmission.
