It could have been real dangerous -- but I was just going
down a hill and wanted to see if it would do it -- handles
very nicely, but the engine shutting down for 4-5 seconds
is alarming !!!

No, and the SO takes it in tomorrow for its last warranty
look-over (it's right at 36k). I'm told by my speed freak
buddies at the local speed shops that that is normal -- in
fact mandated by Big Brother. Sounds like a liability
lawsuit looking for a place to happen to me. I was told
that it can be easily removed by taking it to someone that
can program the PROM .... but, heck, I can do that .... if
someone will just help out with where it is ???
