Motorola or Microchip?

I use microchip's stuff it's great and the parallax assembly is
really easy to use . 
the chip is indestructible and contains lots of useful stuff
check out the parallax website too .
they sell stuff for Mchip and some useful gadgets too
the pic'ers have a mail-list like this , full of useful ideas 
and so on .
I don't know motorola but Mchip positively rulez .
