Is that the 9000A? That one was $599, and there was also a Needhams SA-10
that was $499. There were several in the $200 range, but every single one
was either the parallel port type or had an ISA card. The SA-10 is a stand
alone with serial and parallel ports. It seems odd that noone would have a
less expensive serial port capable programmer, I don't think designing or
making it would be any more difficult than the parallel port version. I
guess I'll try the Needhams one, since I have had good luck with them in
the past. Thanks for your help.
