It sounds like your intake line to the pump is smaller or the same size as the out line. Bosch pumps are very intolerant of this since it causes cavitation in the pump. Duplicate the diameters of the fittings on the pump eg 3/8 inch IN and 5/16 OUT. The pump will take care of itself after that.
