this thread sounds interesting.  I have also seen the British Car
article and am planning a fuel injection system for my '74 MGB.  I am
building a couple of throttle bodies at the moment.  I am thinking of
using 2 injectors per intake, (the MGB uses siamesed intakes so there
are only 2 of them), rather than using one 38lb injector for each
intake.  I have the EFI332 CPU board and parts, but I may try using a
simple batch injection system using a PIC microprocessor.
