Been following this for a while. O2 sensor detect's "FREE" oxygen.
Has to be at a certain temp or above to work. Temp also affects
STOC. Stoc assumes all products will combust (combine with Oxygen)
Temp too high, oxygen combines with nitrogen, removing that from the
process, requiring more oxygen, moving stoc leaner. Some fuels also
combine to form incomplete products if combusted at too low a temp,
removing the oxygen, yet making nasty products. Too high or too low,
the STOC reading will be false. For the sensors to be right, both the
combustion and the sensor temp must be within the design range and
the combustion COMPLETE. Incomplete combustion is like formaldehyde
with methanol in the exhaust or excess CO's will shift the apparent STOC
point markedly.
If the first ingredient ain't Habanero, then the rest don't matter.
