Once upon a time their was a pawr boy who didn't want to blow
his hooker money on a turbo, stroker or whatever and besides
that was kinda chickenshit when it came to the SMOG Police.

Then he read "High Performance Automotive Fuels and Fluids"
by Jeff Hartman. First thing changed the oil. Learn the truth about
Slick Snot PTFE or die.

Chapter 14 applied some Yogurt Fire Extinguisher to the Lamb Vineroo
brewing upon his Chili singed brain stem. Think of it. A bone stock
(OK minorly tweaked) intake system and etc. that STARTS, IDLES, and
gets good mileage around town. Then, as you transition into your Funny
Farm Fantasy region, you can start adding something with Twang!!!

Nitrous Oxide is cool - for about 10 seconds. But what about liquid
dynamite. 10 to 20 percent in methanol is the traditional blend for adding
a lot of twang, without getting into major self destruct modes. Yes, Nitro
has a low octane, but it has a significantly higher latent heat of
vaporization
and tremendously cools the air - and blended with 107 octane methanol at
low percentages, the mix still has more octane than gasocrap and it has
some real twang. What makes it real interesting is nitro LIKES low
compression engines. And since you are injecting this mixture only at
high loads, and are only partially replacing gasoline, retaining some
connection with reality will allow a nice power increase without self
destruct.

Think about it. As the engine demand increases past a certain point, cut
in a little Kickapoo Joy Juice - something that don't need a lot of air to
make
power. Properly controlled and used in proportion to the bottom end
strength
you can make more power than a blower or turbo or stroker and still drive
normally. Ask why dual fuel setups are illegal in virtually every form of
racing-
tipping the bottle works. The major concern was fuel availability and cost
Nitro runs 50 a gallon and up and is not easy to get in Teeds Grove Iowa.
Model fuel is easy to get anywhere and since I only need a few gallons a
week to think about cruising Milikan, I can afford both twang and pu_____.

Speed costs - how many cubic dollars to you want to go. This allows
me to spend my cubic dollars over time instead of at one fell swoop.

If the first ingredient ain't Habanero, then the rest don't matter.
