Whipple (AutoRotor) Compressor

I just put a Whipple on my 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe that has a 5.7L engine.
Installation was very easy with clear instructions. Taking my time and
double checking everything, it took me about 8 hours to put it on. The
improvement was really quite significant - probably about another 100HP
and more in torque. The power comes on at 2,500 RPM although it seems
to get flat at 4,500 to 5,500. I am still thinking about how to improve
the higher RPM's. But lower RPM's, were most of the driving is done
anyhow, are great. One nice thing about the installation was that only
one wire had to be cut and spliced; everything else was a bolt-on or
plug-in.

I have been thinking some about putting an intercooler on, or doing
something for the higher RPM's. I already put some headers on and it
has dual catalytic converters already. I suspect that the engine is
leaning out at the higher RPM's but I haven't tested it yet.
