 This came up a few years ago on the old hotrod list.  Some Canadian guy
was building a supercharged two stroke streamliner.

 There were various replies, but for such a specialized purpose no great
amount of sophistication would be necessary.  An aircraft carb with the
richness control routed to the cockpit and a lever-cable setup to move
the breaker plate, or the equivalent in electronic doodads.  Since the
engine will be running at full power at the top of the RPM band tuning
is very simple and easily within the capacity of the driver.  You could
get an idea of the proper settings on the dyno, then adjust things in
real time watching CHT and EGT.
