EEC-IV modification

In reference with 1990 Ford truck & EEC-IV computer
Has anyone been involved in modification/alternation of the Ford EEC-IV
EPROM? Or  has any PC to EEC-IV interface been built in order to alter
the EPROM in real time (EPROM emulator) ?
