Correct Ken, however detonation or pre-ignition (I always get these words
mixed up) can occur from the hot spots on the metal, which transfers to the
charge easier through sharp edges.
An analogy would be like lightening... sharp pointy objects transfer
electrons easier than rounded dome-like objects.
