A/F Guage Readings

Well, that question is right up my alley.  During the first 30 seconds of
engine operation, the ECU is still warming up the oxygen sensors.  Even if
the engine is hot when you shut it down, then start things back up, you will
have exactly 30 seconds of no air/fuel readings.

(Wow, automotive technology!)
