LS1 Specs

The LT4 did use PM rods that interchange with the old forged steel rods.  I
think the "pink" rods were stronger than the newer PM rods.  For really good
rods, use aftermarket ones, Lunati, Oliver, etc.

Thanks...  I just found out yesterday that the LS1 PM rods are .400"
longer than the old SBC rods.

The article that I read indicated that the LT4 used PM rods.  Can
anyone verify this fact?
