Hi everybody,
Let me introduce myself before I throw out my questions
to the collective knowledge of the group.
I am a mechanical engineer. I graduated from Worcester
Polytechnic Institute as an undergraduate in '96 and then again
as a graduate student in '97. I have a profound interest in
vehicles that perform well. Currently I own a 1984 S-10 Blazer
which I converted over to a V-8 a couple of years ago and a 1995
Ford Taurus SHO. Anyways, up till now, the S-10 has been
carbeurated but as you may guess I would like that to change.
I have found a local junkyard that is willing to let me
remove all components necessary to convert my V-8 to fuel injection.
There is one problem though, mine is a 350 and this is a 305 TPI.
As I understand it, the distributor EST module, ESC module, knock
sensor and ECM calibrator would have to be changed and the fuel
pressure regulator bumped up. Ideally the injectors should be changed
but since my 350 is mostly stock the stock 305 injectors should suffice.
Does this sound correct to you guys? Any comments?

Thanks in advance for all your advice.

-Chris

P.S. The junkyard only wants $400 for EVERYTHING with the TPI.
