One of the reasons I chose the HEI system was because the parts all
interchanged with very little machine work. I'm not sure what the
yrs. are. I cleaned out a wrecking yard of all the HEI parts they
had. I'm not sure of make, model, year. Look at you module, then look
at the modules at the parts store. If they look to be the same size
(not same number of pins) then you can put the late module in an
early body and fire the coil. The early modules wer analog, the
newer ones may be partly digital. My old Sun distributor machine is
priceless for playing with dizzies.

I ordered 8 sets of chips from Newark today. $15 for enough chips to
run the Soob. I bought 4 sets and they should be here Monday.
Allied had the Darlingtons a little cheaper, but Newark had it all
and its hard enough to get those outfits to talk to you for ones and
twos. Digi-key is much more cooperative.

ps
Afriend is taking his turbod sandrail to the sand dunes to try out
the HEI. He is using the coil in the cap to eliminate the short
wire. I hope he doesn't hit a bump and knock the coil and cap
loose. They do become air-borne with a bumpy ride.
