Careful, it's an SOP, not PLCC on the Audi A4 1.8T (US Version anyway).
There are a couple of 28 pin PLCCs which are reported to be a '1024 variant.

My sources indicate the 44 pin SOP is (can be replaced with) an
Am29F200B.  I haven't actually checked what the OEM chip is.

The SOP pinout is in 20637a1.pdf on the AMD web site.
