Sort of to do with EFI (more electronics)

As far as I know, Ford for example, uses a reference voltage from which
all sensors are connected to. Vref is typically in the neighborhood of
5 volts. The advantage of this is 1, Vref can be maintained even when
the 12v battery is low. The regulation down to Vref gets rid of a great
deal of electrical noise. Finally using Vref gives all sensors the same
analog scale.

I'm not familiar with your A-D chip, but will assume this. Your A-D
converter should have an Analog Reference input. You'll need to build a
voltage regulator to regulate 12V down to 5 volts. Feed this 5 volt
singal into the Analog Reference input of the A-D and also use the 5
Volts to supply power to your sensors.

Hope this helps some.
