This gave ma an idea I don't know if you have thought of or not......
Has anyone every tried injecting water in to the exhaust manifold after the head and before the turbo?
This would only need to be done when your lead foot gets off the gas and off the line.
Would this keep the turbo spooled up? .......no more lag?
Would the manifold cool down to fast?
How much water would be needed to keep the turbo at speed?
Would the thermal stress damage things ie: manifold and / or turbo?
Don't worry Robert your not the only one with crazy ideas......
Cheers
Simon

Some people can tell what time it is by looking at the sun.
But I have never been able to make out the numbers.
