I'd be looking at mid-late 80s 4 cylinder cars for this. The mazda 929
springs to mind, but I don't know if they were a throttle body
arrangement.
Most of these would probably be an L-Jet trapdoor air flow meter, so you
can tweak the resistors in the analog computer quite easily (or, adjust
the fuel pressure with the stock computer
The JD/JE camiras with fuel injection used the GM C3 computer (as used
in the VN/VP commodore) and MAP sensing. I *think* these were TBI, but
may well have been multipoint. (Actually I think all the JEs are
injected ??? check out a wrecker) Electronics Australia Oct 1993 has a
brief rundown of the C3.
Furthermore, the C3 is easily reprogrammed by several people in
Melbourne for $1-200, but being roughly the same capacity engine the
computer should be able to re-tune itself with the oxygen sensor..
especially if you play with the fuel pressure.
