Hmmm.  Sorry.  A misfire shows excessive HC (and burns the
nose), but also has excesses of O2 to react with in the
cat.  Extremely rich exhaust creates sulfur smell, but I've 
never noticed a glow from them. 

Got to retain my membership in CSH club.
