New to the list-Electromotive problems 2!

Greetings to you all,
As I am new to the list I would like to introduce myself.
My name is John Andrianakis and I am currently a studying mechanical
engineering.
Engine tuning is my passion, particularly efi-turbo tuning.I am involved
in eprom programming,custom efi installations,general engine tuning and
street-drag racing. Quite extensive knoledge of materials and especially
composite materials and just getting into electronic circuit design.
I hope I can be helpfull to the members of this list.

I have had the same problem as Espen Hilde with an Electromotive TEC-II
in a Renault 5. The TEC-II just died after some time with no apparent
reason and restarted after a while for no apparent reason either. I
traced the problem to water-moisture in the top to bottom pcb connecting
socket and/or bad ground connections. The problem has not reappeared but
I am still not sure of the cause. Thanks for the tip David.
