...I did the same thing with a MoTeC ECU. Made some killer air/fuel maps on
a '96 Honda Civic with a turbo. Then burned some EPROMS (on a
daughterboard) and sold the ECU mod with a 3 bar MAP sensor and 550cc
injectors, as a package. With bolt-on turbo kits, that setup made a
consistent 25 bhp @ 7 psi/92 octane over the stock ECU and a boost-indexed
fuel pressure regulator alone.
Actually, the idea came to me after I finished tuning a customer's DFI and
saved the maps to disk... well you know the rest is history.
