DIY glass fibre plenum chamber? Bad idea?

A polystyrene plug will be melted by the resin if you don't cover it, urethane
foam is O.K. and will "sand down" if you use one block to work anouther.

Sounds a resonable project.

You might use the thick plastic " gasket " used to keep heat from causing
evaporation problems in carbureters between your manifold and fiberglass
plenum.

You can get fire resistant resins. Might be a good idea in this application
:-)
