1985-1986 ALDL information for GM 5.0 & 5.7L TPI applications

I've begun transcribing some ALDL information that I have in my
collection
and turning it into HTML.  This particular piece comes from a document
that
was written by Dr. Brad Smith for GM design engineers. The document has
a disclaimer that essentially says that the material is not copywrited,
nor classified as GM restricted.  Therefore, I think I'm safe in
releasing the HTML.

Since the whole document is almost 200 pages thick, I'll be adding more
sections a piece at a time.  The next portion to be added will be the
introduction and index. The document covers all GM applications from
1982 through 1986.

In the mean time, take a look at the description for the '85-'86 GM 5.0
& 5.7 litre Tuned Port application.  Each byte of the data stream is
described in detail, including the BCD status words.
