A sentrifugal compressor is more efficent than a roots type blower.Roots
maybe
50%effectivity v. sentrifugal up to 80 %(less heating of intake air
temp.and
less energy used,to compress)Many sentrifugal superchargers uses compressor
wheel and housing from turbo chargers.(a turbine is on exhaust side)
