MAF vs MAP

So is MAF considered inferior to MAP?  Just curious.  Seems that, in theory,
MAF is a more "direct" reading and that MAP uses estimates...
clarifications??  (thanks).

     Guys:

     Does anyone on this list have a GM compatible (DFI, Haltech, etc)
     programmable ECM that they would be willing to part with? I have an 89
     TPI system that I need to get some control over...not to mention
     ditching the MAF.
