Knock Sensor Location (Was: Scanner problems)

Its mounted to the intake manifold where the stock Jeep sensor was
located, I will have to tap a new hole in the block near where GM would
have put it.  Is there a method to placement or is it rocket science?  I
think that bruce might have hit it on the head when he suggested a new
BBC because I thought that the knock counts went away when I
disconnected the sensor but they didn't..... I still get knock counts
with the sensor unhooked...  Jason
