Knock Sensor Location (Was: Scanner problems)

I hate to suggest the obvious, and I'm kinda jumping into this thread in
the
middle so I'm sorry if this was suggested before, but is it possible
your wiring
is picking up EMI from the ignition system?  Does your sensor wiring rub
shoulders with any of the spark plug wires?  Are your spark plug wires
good?
