Never seen the Costin book  -- sounds interesting  -- the Len Terry (designer of the
Lotus 38 Indy Car) book  has a very similar title.
Another good read is  the Tony Rudd autobiography  " It was fun" which gives real
insights in to how  BRM & Lotus worked.
I can also recommend the Nicki Lauda  book "The Art & Technicalities of Grand Prix
