They are building rockets for $20g a piece that go 150 miles,
from volunteer work and donations (you get a Tshirt)
There is a $250g prize for first DIY rocket to reach space at
50 miles.
There work could be useful for rocket drag cars or other
vehicles requiring one large throttle body.

They also have a nice schematic for making a $20g microgram
balance for $2 but I have had some problems with mine.
