Bruce can't re-subscribe

Yes, they come to me.  This isn't to censor who is or isn't allowed to
be on the list, but to prevent gluts of bogus subscribes (yes, it
happened).  I approve any name I recognize and anything that looks
reasonable (sometimes folks mistype their email address).

Occasionally, I'll get someone asking to subscribe a completely
different address.  In that case, I'll probably send a note
asking if they really want to be subscribed.
